Q. DOES MY CHIMNEY NEED LINING?

A. It is not a legal requirement or building regulation that a chimney requires lining, but we would always recommend it for safety & efficiency and to aid the draw on Eco 2022 stoves

Q. DOES MY CHIMNEY REQUIRE SWEEPING PRIOR TO INSTALLATION?

A. We recommend having your chimney swept by a registered chimney sweep prior to a solid fuel installation.  Call us on 01536 260262 and we can issue a certificate and advise on the condition of your chimney. If you are having a gas installation we are able to sweep the chimney ourselves on the day of installation.

Q. DO I NEED TO ORGANISE MY OWN BUILDER AND PLASTERER?

A. We cover all of the works required from creating the chamber to building false chimney breasts.

Q. IS THE COUNCIL REQUIRED TO SIGN OFF THE WORK CARRIED OUT?

A. All our fitters are GAS SAFE & HETAS registered and a certificate will be issued on completion of the installation.

Q. I HAVE ALREADY PURCHASED MY STOVE – CAN YOU INSTALL IT?

A. We only install goods purchased through our showrooms. This ensures that the customer has full confidence in the products and they comply with all current regulations.

Q. I DON'T HAVE A CHIMNEY – CAN I HAVE A SOLID FUEL STOVE?

A. We can design and quote you for an internal or external twinwall system.
